The atelier

9 ATELIER is a small couture house dedicated to a single garment — the corset. Every piece is built by hand to your individual measurements, in our atelier in Dubai. We do not mass-produce. We do not warehouse stock. Each corset starts when your measurements arrive and finishes when we deliver it to you, fourteen days later.

The designer

The house is led by Darina Zimina, a corsetière whose work bridges classical sculpture and modern construction. The corset, in her language, is not lingerie — it is architecture. Every silhouette in our collections is the answer to a question about form: how should the shoulders be carried, what does the waist say, where does the eye come to rest.

The collections

Architecture — six foundational silhouettes, each named after a constellation or a heroine. Form first, colour second. The core language of the house.

OLYMPIA — the Spring 2026 capsule. Seven corsets, each built around one of the female archetypes drawn from Jean Shinoda Bolen's Goddesses in Everywoman. The form becomes a state.

The work

Italian silk taffeta and matte satin. French Chantilly lace. Crystal-lace inserts hand-applied. Hand-set steel boning, contour-fitted. Couture finish, top-stitch by top-stitch.
